Check in easy and very welcoming on arrival. Room very comfortable and big, so plenty of room for our dog. Restaurant excellent and v. Reasonable, service good too. Reception extremely helpful when I needed to borrow a lead to charge my phone. Have stayed here a few times and will carry on doing so. Convenient stopover on way back to Eurotunnel.

A perfect place to crash for one night in the middle of a long road trip passing through Germany. The breakfast was nice, too. The room was cozy and the bed was good.

Stayed a few days to attend Oktoberfest 2022. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Parking is free and near the hotel. Across the street is a Lidl for grocery shopping. Breakfast is available but we did not partake. Dinner is available at the restaurant at a good value. Nearest train station (Gernlinden Bahnhof) is a 15 minute walk from hotel and two ATM/Geld automat machines are along the route. Near the bahnhof there is newspaper vendor that sells train tickets. A group all day pass for 2 people was €18-much cheaper than individual tickets. Masks are required on the train so bring yours. Masks are available at the newspaper vendor.

I recently stayed at a hotel with my elderly parents and had an exceptional experience. The hotel's restaurant surpassed my expectations with its delicious cuisine and attentive service. I particularly appreciated the convenience of having a supermarket /Lidl/ close by, making it easy to meet our needs. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would gladly choose this hotel again in the future.

I was greeted with a friendly reception, check in was less than 5 minutes. The spa facilities are good and clean, the Saunameister certainly knows her stuff. Beds were comfortable. Big plus, good Italian restaurant directly linked to the hotel,which also served a good diverse breakfast.

The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Gernlinden S-Bahn terminal. The internet cut off one evening. I asked the person at the front desk the next morning if I needed to pay extra for more internet access. They gave me a new password for free.

The Abasto Hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. It was an overnight stop on a long journey. The hotel is close to the motorway, but nevertheless in a quiet residential area, I couldn’t hear any noise from the road. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and modern with a good shower and clean towels. The breakfast was great, lots to choose from, plenty there and frequently restocked. Lovely bread and good coffee. There are two restaurants on site, we didn’t eat there, but chose a pizzeria ( Salerno) about 5 minutes drive, very nice. Bonus points, there is a Lidl opposite the hotel. And best of all there is a small swimming lake opposite less than a minute walk away. it was a great way to cool down on a hot day!

Exceptionally helpful staff at the reception desk; restaurant service excellent in every way; rooms comfortable. clean and accessible.

Room was comfortable to stay. Area is quite & hv LiDL Grocer near by walking distance. Can go for a walk to nearby small pond & train rail for scenery photo. Distance frm City centre around 25 to 30mins by car. If you driving is ok as a lot of parking space available & free.
