Abasto Hotel & Spa Maisach

Check in easy and very welcoming on arrival. Room very comfortable and big, so plenty of room for our dog. Restaurant excellent and v. Reasonable, service good too. Reception extremely helpful when I needed to borrow a lead to charge my phone. Have stayed here a few times and will carry on doing so. Convenient stopover on way back to Eurotunnel.

A perfect place to crash for one night in the middle of a long road trip passing through Germany. The breakfast was nice, too. The room was cozy and the bed was good.

I was greeted with a friendly reception, check in was less than 5 minutes. The spa facilities are good and clean, the Saunameister certainly knows her stuff. Beds were comfortable. Big plus, good Italian restaurant directly linked to the hotel,which also served a good diverse breakfast.

Stayed a few days to attend Oktoberfest 2022. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Parking is free and near the hotel. Across the street is a Lidl for grocery shopping. Breakfast is available but we did not partake. Dinner is available at the restaurant at a good value. Nearest train station (Gernlinden Bahnhof) is a 15 minute walk from hotel and two ATM/Geld automat machines are along the route. Near the bahnhof there is newspaper vendor that sells train tickets. A group all day pass for 2 people was €18-much cheaper than individual tickets. Masks are required on the train so bring yours. Masks are available at the newspaper vendor.

Exceptionally helpful staff at the reception desk; restaurant service excellent in every way; rooms comfortable. clean and accessible.
